What a pallet is worth — and why it moves
There's no single sticker price on a pallet. Here's the honest version of how we land on a number, whether you're buying or selling.
Pallet pricing is a market, not a menu. The same 48×40 can be worth very different amounts depending on its grade, the size and specs, how many you have, and where it sits relative to our yard. We grade honestly in both directions — we don't inflate what we sell or lowball what we buy — so the number you get reflects the real condition and the real logistics.
When you're buying from us, recycled A- and B-grade stock runs a fraction of new-lumber cost, and larger orders price better per pallet. When you're selling to us, we pay for sound, reusable cores — the closer to standard GMA and the better the condition, the more they're worth. When you're recycling pallets that are past saving, the value is in clearing your dock and diverting the wood rather than in the boards themselves.

A remodeler wants 40 recycled 48×40s for a job. They send the size, count, grade (B is fine for their use), and a delivery ZIP. We quote per-pallet pricing on B-grade stock plus a short local delivery, and — since it's a round volume — the per-pallet number lands well under new lumber. Selling: a warehouse is sitting on 300 empties
A distribution center has 300 mixed empties stacking up on the dock. They send a rough count, a photo of the stacks, and their location. Recycling: a brewery clears a one-time pile

Why can't you just post a fixed price per pallet?
Because a real number depends on grade, size, quantity, and location. A neat stack of 500 standard GMA cores near the yard prices very differently from a dozen odd-size broken pallets across town. Tell us the specifics and we price it honestly.
Do I get more for my pallets if they're in good shape?
Yes. Sound, reusable pallets — especially standard 48×40 GMA — are worth the most because they go straight back into service. Broken or odd-size pallets are worth less to buy but we'll still take them for recycling and clear your dock.
Is there a minimum or maximum order?
We handle anywhere from about 5 to 5,000+ pallets per order. Small homeowner projects and large recurring warehouse contracts both work — just tell us the count.
What if I don't know my pallet size or grade?
Leave those fields blank and add a note or a photo. Our sorters figure out specs all day — a quick picture of the stack usually tells us everything we need.
