A real yard, real work, real impact
This isn't a warehouse cubicle. It's forklifts, nail guns, box trucks, and stacks of lumber that used to be somebody's trash. The work is physical and it's honest — you can see what you accomplished at the end of every shift, measured in graded pallets, finished repairs, and routes run. If you like fixing things and keeping good material out of the landfill, it's genuinely satisfying work.
We're a small, tight crew, which means people here wear more than one hat and everyone's work matters. A sorter's honest grade sets the price. A repair tech's rebuild is the difference between reuse and scrap. A driver's clean route keeps a customer coming back. There's no anonymous, disposable job on this yard.

What we look for — and what we don't
We hire the person as much as the opening. The résumé tells us what you've done; the first conversation tells us whether you'll fit a small, tight crew where everyone's work is visible.
- Show up. On time, ready to work — the one thing we genuinely can't train.
- Take pride. A sorter's honest grade and a tech's solid rebuild are the whole product.
- Hate waste. If tossing good wood bothers you on principle, you already get the mission.
- Pitch in. People here wear more than one hat; a driver who'll help load or a sorter who'll learn the bench goes far.
What we don't require: a long pallet-industry résumé, a specific certificate for most roles, or a college degree. The instinct to fix things and keep material out of the landfill is worth more here than any of that.

Growth paths on the yard
A small crew means room to grow into more than one thing. Nobody here is boxed into a single lane forever, and the people who pitch in across roles are the ones who move up.
- Yard crew → lead sorter. Master the read on grades and sizes and you become the person whose call sets the standard for the line.
- Yard crew → repair tech. Show an eye for a solid pallet and a steady hand and the bench is a natural next step.
- Box-truck → CDL driver. Prove yourself on non-CDL routes and grow into the larger trucks and bigger retrievals.
- Any role → dispatch. People who know the yard inside out often make the best dispatchers — they know what a quote really takes to fill.

Do I need experience to work on the yard?
Not for yard crew — we train sorting, grading, and equipment on the job. Driver roles need a clean record (and a CDL for the larger trucks), and repair techs do better with some carpentry or fabrication background. What we can't train is showing up and taking pride in the work.
Do you hire CDL drivers?
Yes. We run both CDL and non-CDL box-truck routes for retrievals and deliveries across the Tucson metro. If you drive, note your license class and endorsements when you reach out.
